Becquer and its board has been associated with many organizations that are working towards the grand scheme of sustainability in different areas of environment, skill, and policy. Sustainability as a concept is very crucial for the world to move towards resilience not only towards climate change but also the right mindset that would propel societies towards an overall development with the right skills, resources and policies that extend to all aspects of life.
Some of the board members of Becquer are also invitees on the councils of organizations like United Nations ESCAP, Ministry of Textiles and United Nations Forum on Sustainability Standards.
To work with the government in suggesting fair policies for the renewable energy sector to grow, Becquer is working closely with two leading industry association bodies, FICCI and CII, and has been on their council for CSR and skill policy.

To ensure a green ecosystem, it is imperative to ensure the new construction of buildings and factories are developed with a green mindset as they are the high density centres for power and resource consumption.

To further this objective, Becquer is working with the IGBC on their building framework that ensures sustainability. The problem is we are currently using solar energy at a stage by when it has undergone tremendous modification and now sits in the form of fossil fuel s that when burnt, releases CO2. This CO2 was meant to stay underground but we are forcibly putting it back into the atmosphere. This CO2 has a hobby of trapping heat that raises Earth’s temperature. The climatic after effects of this is something very hard to predict accurately but they are surely trou blesome to life as we know it.
